(June 23, 2017) – Harrisonville children will have a fun and spiritual time at summer camp thanks to a grant arranged by Winter Insurance Agency and provided by MutualAid eXchange (“MAX”) Insurance.

Jason Winter, of the Winter Insurance Agency, requested a grant from MAX, one of its insurance providers to help send disadvantaged children to the camp.  MAX and its Mutual Aid Ministries program approved the grant and delivered it in May, in time for area children to go to camp this summer.

“At Lakeside Mennonite Camp, the children experience Christ and Christian Fellowship in a fun and safe environment outside the church building,” said Winter.  “We have volunteered at the camp and have seen what a great job they do for the children.  We are very grateful to MAX for their generous support.”

“We are pleased to support the Winter Insurance Agency and Lakeside Mennonite Camp,” said David Wine, President and CEO of MAX Insurance.  “We are sure these funds will be used in a meaningful way.”

MAX Insurance was founded by members of the Mennonite and related faiths.  It is a fair, faithful and socially responsible provider of home, auto, business and related insurance serving people of all faith backgrounds.  The company’s Mutual Aid Ministries program offers Community Grants to its network of independent agencies to support worthwhile programs.
