Cooper-Bumpus Insurance Agency and MAX Insurance® Provide Grant to CASA of East Central Illinois

(CHARLESTON, IL) – Cooper-Bumpus Insurance Agency, Inc. has supported CASA of East Central Illinois for several years through donations and volunteer time at fundraising events and this year they are excited to partner with MAX Insurance® in giving a $1,000 grant.  The grant will be used to train citizens and volunteers of CASA.  CASA is a network of 951 community-based programs that recruits, trains and supports citizen-volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in courtrooms and communities.

Lori Bumpus heads Cooper-Bumpus Insurance Agency.  After learning about the MAX Agent Community Grant Program, she and her colleagues chose CASA to be a recipient.  “We have loved giving our time at CASA’s fundraising events,” Bumpus said.  “I am thrilled to partner with MAX Insurance® to further support this organization that is dear to my heart.”

Troyer-Weaver Insurance Agency and MAX Insurance® provide Matching Grants to Women’s Outreach of Hope

(PRYOR, OK) – Matching donations from Troyer-Weaver Insurance Agency and their partner, MutualAid eXchange (“MAX”) Insurance were given to Women’s Outreach of Hope, AKA Hope House. Women’s Outreach of Hope helps women who have had a past of drug addiction and have completed a recovery program get their lives back together and begin working to be productive citizens in their community.  The matching grants will help pay for operating expenses, whether it is groceries, utilities or other expenses for Hope House.

Ken Weaver heads Troyer-Weaver Insurance Agency.  “I learned about Hope House from Reckless Saints of Nowhere,” Weaver said.  “These funds will aid women to reclaim their families and lives. The Hope House program includes Bible studies, employment preparation, and other community resources. Our agency is pleased to partner with MAX Insurance® and its Agent Community Grant program to make these gifts possible.”

Bovaird Insurance Agency Recognized with Community Service Award from MAX Insurance®

Bovaird Insurance Agency and MAX Insurance® Provide Grant to Homeless Engagement Lift Partnership (H.E.L.P.)

(PEORIA, AZ) – Hunger is a reality for homeless students in Maricopa County where sometimes the only meals they obtain are through their school programs.  That’s where Homeless Engagement Lift Partnership (H.E.L.P.) works with school districts’ Homeless Liaisons to identify which schools, and how many of their students, can receive support through H.E.L.P.’s HelpSnackz program.  Thanks to a $2,000 grant from Bovaird Insurance Agency and their partner, MutualAid eXchange (“MAX”), the HelpSnackz program will be able to provide more daily afternoon nutritional snack bags to homeless students in Maricopa County.

Fidelity Agency and MAX Insurance® donate to Bright Beginnings Learning Center

(PLATTE, SD) – Fidelity Agency has supported Bright Beginnings Learning Center for several years through donations of snacks, beef, toys, and volunteer time and this year they are excited to partner with MAX Insurance® in giving a $2,000 grant.  The grant will be used to purchase improved educational curriculum for the preschool, toddlers, and tiny tots age groups.

Elizabeth Nepodal is an agent at Fidelity Agency and enjoys volunteering at Bright Beginnings Learning Center.  After learning about the MAX Agent Community Grant Program, she and her colleagues chose the childcare and preschool facility to be a recipient.  “I have loved giving my time wherever it was needed,” Nepodal said.  “From reading to the kids, to hanging up Christmas lights each year, I enjoy helping Bright Beginnings Learning Center’s children and staff and I am thrilled to partner with MAX Insurance® to further support this organization that is dear to my heart.”
