(BLOOMINGTON, IN) – Access to healthy food should be possible for all residents of the Bloomington community in an atmosphere free of judgement.  Thanks to a grant secured by The PROES Group of Bloomington, through MutualAid eXchange (“MAX”) Insurance, Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard will be able to provide 5,000 pounds of food to community members who need it most.

The PROES Group (parent company of The Insurance Center Group), through this generous donation, was able to purchase food for Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard.  “The PROES Group is excited to provide this grant,” a spokesperson said. “We know how important Mother Hubbard’s is to our community in providing healthy and fresh food for those in need.”

The Insurance Centers are independent agencies representing MAX Insurance in Bloomington and the surrounding areas.  MAX Insurance of Overland Park, KS, is a unique fair, faithful and socially responsible insurance enterprise.  The company’s mission is to provide quality, fairly priced insurance with outstanding customer service, and to restore wholeness to communities and individuals in need through its non-profit Mutual Aid Ministries program.

“MAX is more than an insurance company.  We truly care beyond the contract,” said David Wine, President of MAX.  “That’s why we are excited to partner with The Insurance Centers and are happy to lend our support to this important organization in the Bloomington community.”
