Last spring’s wildfires took a toll on Clark County Fire Department’s equipment. With a tight budget, replacing the equipment would be difficult.
That’s why Cheri Martin of the Cherry Insurance, Inc. in Montezuma requested a grant from MutualAid eXchange (“MAX”), one of its insurance providers. MAX and its Mutual Aid Ministries program, along with Martin, have donated $2,500 to help cover some of these unanticipated expenses.
“In a small community like ours, we all have to pull together,” Martin said. “Our firefighters were out there on the front lines protecting lives and property. The least we could do is help them replace the equipment they need to protect us. We are very grateful to MAX for their support in helping provide equipment that will help them do their job.”
“We are pleased to support the Cherry Insurance, Inc. and the Clark County Fire Department,” said David Wine, President and CEO of MAX Insurance. “We applaud the firefighters for their spirit and courage.”
