(NORTH VERNON, IN) — People struggling with addiction and other challenges know they can find freedom from life-long struggles at North Vernon Wesleyan Church’s Celebrate Recovery program.  Now, a grant from an area insurance agency will help the church continue this meaningful outreach program.

Layman Insurance of North Vernon, IN and their partner insurance provider, MutualAid eXchange (“MAX”) recently made a grant to the church’s Celebrate Recovery program.  “Celebrate Recovery is a blessing to the community and those in need,” said Bryant Layman of Layman Insurance.  “We are pleased to help it with the supplies needed to better serve those people in need, including food and bibles.”

Layman requested the funds through the Mutual Aid Ministries program at MAX Insurance® of Overland Park, KS.  MAX is a unique fair, faithful and socially responsible insurance enterprise. Founded on religious principles, the company’s mission is to restore wholeness to communities and individuals in need.  It lives out its mission through a variety of quality, fairly-priced insurance products, outstanding personalized customer service and its non-profit Mutual Aid Ministries (“MAM”) program.

“MAX is more than an insurance company.  We truly care beyond the contract,” said David Wine, President and Chief Executive Officer.  “That’s why we are excited to partner with Layman Insurance on this important ministry.  When Bryant told us about the Celebrate Recovery program, we were more than happy to lend our support.”
