Village Insurance and MAX Insurance Provide Gift to Play in the Park Program

Area parents looking for a safe place for their children to play are grateful for the local Play in the Park program.  They can go to work or run some errands, knowing their children are being supervised by the program’s caring staff.

Recently Sean Hall of the Village Insurance Agency decided to make a gift to the program to show his and his clients’ appreciation.  He partnered with one of his insurance providers, MutualAid eXchange (“MAX”), who has a program to assist its agents who want to be more involved in their communities.

“We are a small county where everyone pitches in and helps out,” Hall said.  “The Play in the Park summer program is a great example of how we all want to make this a safe, caring community for all our children and families. We are very grateful to MAX for their support.”

“We are pleased to support Village Insurance and Play in the Park,” said David Wine, President and CEO of MAX Insurance.  “We are sure these funds will be used in a meaningful way.”

Clark County Fire Department Receives Grant from Cherry Insurance and MAX Insurance

Last spring’s wildfires took a toll on Clark County Fire Department’s equipment.  With a tight budget, replacing the equipment would be difficult.

That’s why Cheri Martin of the Cherry Insurance, Inc. in Montezuma requested a grant from MutualAid eXchange (“MAX”), one of its insurance providers. MAX and its Mutual Aid Ministries program, along with Martin, have donated $2,500 to help cover some of these unanticipated expenses.

“In a small community like ours, we all have to pull together,” Martin said.  “Our firefighters were out there on the front lines protecting lives and property.  The least we could do is help them replace the equipment they need to protect us.  We are very grateful to MAX for their support in helping provide equipment that will help them do their job.”

“We are pleased to support the Cherry Insurance, Inc. and the Clark County Fire Department,” said David Wine, President and CEO of MAX Insurance.  “We applaud the firefighters for their spirit and courage.”
