Tabler Insurance of Findlay Receives Top Honors

Southeast Iowa Insurance Services Wins Top Honors

A Wellman, Iowa insurance agency has earned the highest award from insurance carrier MutualAid eXchange (“MAX”).

Shawn and Tonya Powell head the agency. “We follow the core values of MAX. Our office strives to provide service second to none. Southeast Iowa Insurance Services has been in business for 30 years and has deep roots in the community. Shawn & Tonya Powell have owned Southeast Iowa Insurance since 1987. The original agency– Jones Agency–started in 1939. Shawn & Tonya were born and raised in this community and have raised their family here. Members of the Southeast Iowa Insurance team include Cindy Marner who lives in Kalona and has been with the firm 20 years. Angela Stutzman and Moriah (Powell) Lewis both live in Wellman.

The Powells and their agency are involved in the community.  “We support the local food pantry, Kids against Hunger, and Feed the Kids of Mid-Prairie. We try to volunteer and be involved in our community as needs arise,” Tonya Powell said.
