Cooper-Bumpus Insurance Agency and MAX Insurance® Provide Grant to CASA of East Central Illinois

(CHARLESTON, IL) – Cooper-Bumpus Insurance Agency, Inc. has supported CASA of East Central Illinois for several years through donations and volunteer time at fundraising events and this year they are excited to partner with MAX Insurance® in giving a $1,000 grant.  The grant will be used to train citizens and volunteers of CASA.  CASA is a network of 951 community-based programs that recruits, trains and supports citizen-volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in courtrooms and communities.

Lori Bumpus heads Cooper-Bumpus Insurance Agency.  After learning about the MAX Agent Community Grant Program, she and her colleagues chose CASA to be a recipient.  “We have loved giving our time at CASA’s fundraising events,” Bumpus said.  “I am thrilled to partner with MAX Insurance® to further support this organization that is dear to my heart.”
