Troyer-Weaver Insurance Agency and MAX Insurance® Provide Grants to Adair Community for Excellence in Education

(PRYOR, OK) – Matching donations from Troyer-Weaver Insurance Agency and their partner, MutualAid eXchange (“MAX”) Insurance will help provide a grant to a teacher in Adair Public Schools through the Adair Community for Excellence in Education (“ACEE”) program.  ACEE is an independent non-profit foundation that encourages teachers to apply for funds to purchase the much needed items in their classrooms that enhance learning for their students.

Ken Weaver heads Troyer-Weaver Insurance Agency.  “Many of our clients’ children and grandchildren attend Adair Public Schools and would benefit from having much needed items in their classrooms such as document cameras, reading magnifiers for special education, busy bands for children with ADHD, autism and hyperactivity, digital microscopes and more,” Weaver said.  “To help a teacher in our district avoid using personal funds to purchase these items for their classroom is our pleasure.  Our agency is pleased to partner with MAX Insurance® and its Agent Community Grant program to make these gifts possible.”

Oakwood Insurance Agency and MAX Insurance® Donate to Haven for Heroes

(ANOKA, MN) – Haven for Heroes has undertaken the renovation of the old State Hospital buildings, converting them to temporary housing for homeless veterans in Anoka.  Oakwood Insurance Agency and their partner MutualAid eXchange (“MAX”), recently gave a $2,000 grant to help with the renovations.

Bruce and Darlene Sogn are heads of the agency.  After learning about the MAX Agent Community Grant Program, they and their team chose the Haven for Heroes to be a recipient.  “The renovations are a huge undertaking and are primarily supported through volunteer labor and services,” Sogn said.  “Our agency is excited to give back to our veterans who have given so much to us.”

(FINDLAY, OH) – 100% of every dollar raised by Spring for a Cure goes to cancer research at The James Cancer Hospital in Columbus.  Tabler Insurance Agency and their partner MAX Insurance® are pleased to give a grant to help support the Spring for a Cure event this year.

ARK Insurance and MAX Insurance® Contribute to Fire Relief Foundation

(FINDLAY, OH) – Families who have lost their homes and items in a house fire find hope and support from the Fire Relief Foundation in Findlay, OH.  Thanks to a $2,500 grant from ARK Insurance and their partner MutualAid eXchange (“MAX”), the organization can now assist more people in their time of need.

Kathy Coppes heads ARK Insurance Services.  She reached out to MAX and its Mutual Aid Ministries Community Grant Program to help support the Fire Relief Foundation.  “This great organization stands beside families after their loss and offers household items, monetary assistance, and a shoulder to lean on until the families can get back on their feet,” Coppes said in her application for the grant.  “They function solely through the help of volunteers, many of whom have been fire victims themselves. Our agency has donated clothing, furniture and food in the past and we are pleased to partner with MAX Insurance® and its community grant program to make this gift possible.”

Thompson Insurance Group and MAX® Contribute to International Association of Fire Fighters

(AUSTIN, MN) – The International Association of Fire Fighters is trying to purchase new hoods for each fire fighter in the department.  These hoods are designed to filter out about 90% of the carcinogens in the smoke they come in contact with to reduce the chance of causing cancer.  Thanks to a $500 grant from Thompson Insurance Group and their partner MutualAid eXchange (“MAX”), the department will be able to purchase five hoods.

David Thompson heads Thompson Insurance Group LLC, a member of Atlas Insurance Brokers.  He reached out to the International Association of Fire Fighters after learning about the MAX Agent Community Grant Program.  “I was a fire fighter on the department for nine years as a part time fire fighter,” Thompson said in his application for the grant.  “I have donated to the department in the past and am so pleased to partner with MAX Insurance® and its community grant program to make this gift possible.”
