MAX Insurance and IHT Insurance Agency donate to Newly Formed Boy Scout Troop 364

(NELSONVILLE, OH) – Starting a Boy Scout Troop takes time, planning, volunteers and equipment.  Thanks to a grant from MutualAid eXchange (“MAX”) Insurance and its agency partner, IHT Insurance Agency of Nelsonville, Boy Scout Troop 364 of First United Methodist Church of Nelsonville can purchase startup supplies necessary for the beginnings of their new troop.

David Loge of IHT Insurance Agency requested funding from MAX Insurance to help purchase some of the supplies Troop 364 needs to become an active troop.  “Scouting is an opportunity for youth 5th grade through age 18 to not only experience the outdoors, but practice good citizenship and learn leadership skills that will help them succeed throughout their life,” Loge said.  “Several items are necessary to start a new troop such as tents, flags, a trailer, etc. and this grant will definitely be put to good use to purchase some of these items which will help the troop get off to a good start.”

MAX and Horizon Insurance Group Donate to Newly Formed Girl Scout Troop in Moulton

(MOULTON, IA) – A new Girl Scout troop in the Moulton, IA community is off to a good start thanks to a grant from MutualAid eXchange (“MAX”) Insurance and its agency partner, Horizon Insurance Group of Centerville.  Girl Scout Troop 1147 can purchase startup supplies like handbooks and uniforms for the girls, plus supplies needed for meetings and campouts.

Mary Boyd of Horizon Insurance Group requested funding from MAX Insurance to help purchase some of the items Troop 1147 needs in its beginning stage.  “Horizon Insurance Group is excited to show support to this new Girl Scout troop being formed in the Moulton community,” Boyd said.  “We know how important it is for the girls to have their handbooks, uniforms and supplies, so this grant will help them off on the right foot.  Our agency has supported the Centerville Girl Scouts in the past and we are just as thrilled to be supporting this new Moulton troop.”

Reed-Williams Insurance Agency and MAX Insurance Donate to the Boys & Girls Club of Leflore County

(POTEAU, OK) – Poteau area youth have a safe place to learn and grow after school through the Boys & Girls Club of Leflore County.  The Boys & Girls Club is new to the area– in fact in opened its doors just last November.  Thanks to a generous grant from Reed-Williams Insurance Agency and their partner MutualAid eXchange (“MAX”), supplies needed for fun activities and snacks will be provided to the club’s attendees in the weeks ahead.

“This club provides a safe, active, educational and fun environment for the youth in the community to go to versus them being out in the streets,” said Reed Williams of Reed-Williams Insurance Agency.  “Since this club just opened its doors just three months ago, a total of 30+ youth have already attended the club on a regular basis.  We would love for this club to keep its doors open for our youth and this grant will help the club stay on its path to continue to grow and flourish.”

Happy Heart of MAX Month

February is known for many things – Valentine’s Day, Heart Health Month, President’s Day and at MAX we dedicate February as the Heart of MAX Month.  What are we referring to?  Our Mutual Aid Ministries program!

Our Mutual Aid Ministries program is the Heart of MAX.  It’s what makes MAX different from other insurance companies.  By giving back to our agents’ communities, we help organizations that are doing good locally.  We call this our Agent Community Grant program.  In addition to these grants, Mutual Aid Ministries operates a non-profit which provides grants to individuals facing extreme hardships caused by job loss, health problems and other significant challenges.

Cook Insurance and MAX Insurance Donate to Reaching All People Together (RAPT)

(CENTERVILLE, IA) – Driving to doctor’s appointments is not always an easy task for some patients who simply do not have a means of transportation.  A local non-profit, Reaching All People Together (RAPT), does just that for Centerville residents on a regular basis.  Thanks to a $1,000 grant from MutualAid eXchange (“MAX”) Insurance and its agency partner, Cook Insurance of Centerville, RAPT’s volunteer drivers will be able to provide transportation for patients to their medical appointments in the weeks ahead.

Dan Sales of Cook Insurance requested funding from MAX Insurance to help fund this important local organization.  “RAPT is a program that we see as a value to the overall health of our community,” Sales said.  “With the increased costs of driving, we want to see this program continue for many years to come and this grant would be very beneficial to the program.  RAPT is one of the many programs in our area striving to make our community a better place for people of all ages and we are excited to support it.”
