Farmers Union Insurance Agency and MAX Insurance® Donate to Second Harvest Heartland

(ST. PAUL, MN) – A $1,000 grant from Farmers Union Insurance Agency and their partner, MutualAid eXchange (“MAX”) was given to Second Harvest Heartland as part of MAX’s Mutual Aid Ministries Agent Community Grant program.  Second Harvest Heartland is the leading contributor and authority on hunger solutions in the Midwest, partnering with local food banks, ag surplus programs, produce cooperatives and other non-profit initiatives to serve those who are the most vulnerable - predominantly youth, the elderly, working families and post-secondary students.

Josh Vickerman has been named the new President and General Manager of the Agency, replacing Rodney Allebach. “Our office staff and agents enjoy volunteering at the Maplewood location,” Josh said.  “Sorting and distributing food at Second Harvest Heartland is not only a great team building exercise, but it is also an important part of our plan to give back to our community.  Our Agency is pleased to partner with MAX Insurance® and its Agent Community Grant program to make this gift possible.”

(ST. PAUL, MN) – A $1,000 grant from Farmers Union Insurance Agency and their partner, MutualAid eXchange (“MAX”) was given to Farmers’ Legal Action Group (FLAG) as part of MAX’s Mutual Aid Ministries Agent Community Grant program.  FLAG is a nonprofit law center dedicated to providing legal services and support to family farmers and their communities in order to help keep family farmers on their land.

Rodney Allebach is President and General Manager of the Agency. “We are fully owned by a grassroots farm organization dedicated to the perpetuation of the family farm and half of our business is agricultural-related,” Rodney said.  “We feel supporting FLAG is critical to providing legal services to farm families in need of counsel, farms who have fallen victim to natural disasters, low commodity prices, insurmountable debt, and those facing bankruptcies and foreclosures. (BILLINGS, MT) – JM Insurance Group has supported Pack the Place in Pink for several years through raffle drawings at their agency and this year they are excited to partner with MAX Insurance® in giving a $2,000 grant.

Jennifer Massey heads the agency and is a breast cancer survivor.  After learning about the MAX Agent Community Grant Program, she and her team chose Pack the Place in Pink to be a recipient.  “I personally have benefited from the financial assistance Pack the Place in Pink gives to breast cancer patients,” Massey said.  “Giving back to this organization with our annual agency raffle drawings and volunteering as a model in their annual fashion show is important to me, and I am thrilled to partner with MAX Insurance® to further support this organization that is dear to my heart.”

Troyer-Weaver Insurance Agency and MAX Insurance® Provide Grants to Reckless Saints of Nowhere

(PRYOR, OK) – Matching donations from Troyer-Weaver Insurance Agency and their partner, MutualAid eXchange (“MAX”) Insurance were given to the Reckless Saints of Nowhere.  The matching grants will help pay for transportation expenses incurred to help recovering addicts check into rehabilitation programs such as Teen Challenge.

Ken Weaver heads Troyer-Weaver Insurance Agency.  “Reckless Saints of Nowhere provides hope to so many people lost in addiction,” Weaver said.  “These funds will directly aid addicts wanting to escape drug abuse by getting them checked into a rehabilitation center that helps them overcome their addiction. Jobes Insurance Agency and MAX Insurance® Provide Grant to 4-H Program at Knox County Fair

(MOUNT VERNON, OH) – The Jobes Insurance Agency of Mount Vernon has been a long-time supporter of 4-H and the Knox County Fair.  The past three years Jobes Insurance Agency partnered with MutualAid eXchange (“MAX”) Insurance to support the 4-H program.  With a grant from MAX and their own contribution, Jobes purchases as many of the 4-H projects as they can.

Ashley Jobes-White heads the agency.  “We love supporting the 4-H program at the Knox County Fair each year,” Ashley said.  “This grant will help support our youth with learning experiences and hands on projects. They learn to work with an animal, take care of them and manage money for feed and supplies. They gain friendships, knowledge, and guidance to help them become the young professionals we will one day need.
