(CUBA, MO) – Area foster children will have a brighter Christmas season thanks to a grant from Insurance Center of Cuba and their partner, MutualAid eXchange (“MAX”) Insurance.
In coordination with Mid-Ozark CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), the two insurance companies will be providing funds to purchase gifts for area children that are in foster care.
CASA is an organization that trains volunteers to speak up for the best interest of abused and neglected children in the courts. CASA volunteers are appointed by judges to review records, research information and talk to people involved in the child’s life to help assure that the child remains safe, until a permanent resolution of their case is reached.
Insurance Center of Cuba is an independent insurance agency representing MAX Insurance in Cuba and surrounding areas. MAX Insurance, based in Overland Park, KS, is a unique fair, faithful and socially responsible insurance enterprise. Founded on religious principles, the company’s mission is to restore wholeness to communities and individuals in need. It lives out its mission through a variety of quality, fairly-priced insurance products, outstanding personalized customer service and its non-profit Mutual Aid Ministries (MAM) program.
“MAX is more than an insurance company. We truly care beyond the contract,” said David Wine, President and Chief Executive Officer. “That’s why we are excited to partner with Insurance Center of Cuba to help CASA kids in the Mid-Ozark region.”
