MAX stands ready to work with its members affected by the August 10, 2020 derecho storm in the following Iowa counties: Audubon, Benton, Boone, Cass, Cedar, Clarke, Clinton, Dallas, Greene, Grundy, Guthrie, Hardin, Iowa, Jackson, Jasper, Johnson, Jones, Linn, Madison, Marshall, Muscatine, Polk, Poweshiek, Scott, Story, Tama and Washington counties. We ask that any policyholder in the impacted areas contact us at 877-971-6300 at their earliest convenience if they have been directly affected by the storm and are having difficulty with mail service and paying premiums in a timely manner.
MAX is taking actions in accordance with the Iowa Department of Insurance disaster bulletin to extend applicable deadlines and help its members keep their MAX coverage in place during this disaster. The period for this consideration will remain in effect through September 13, 2020, unless it is extended or terminated sooner.
