The MAX Enterprise has three core values that drive our behaviors and intent in all our business operations: Fair, Faithful and Socially Responsible. The behavioral outcomes of these foundational values mean that we have a deep commitment to local communities; a faithful and care-based approach to our people and our relationships; and an attitude of serving others for mutual benefit and never to the exclusion of the other. We believe there is great synergy between our values and those that are at the heart of smaller insurance companies struggling today.
We also have a deep commitment to giving back to the communities we serve. In 2005, we created our own charitable organization, MAX Share Fund, Inc., a 501(c)(3) charity, to help its stakeholders provide services “beyond the contract”. This Fund is available to all our partners to use in their own communities.
We believe our values and history should reassure any partner using MIIMG’s services of our full intent to respond to their unique needs and keep their own identities and missions strong in the communities they serve. Each partner served by us has the opportunity to choose from a menu of services and continue to hold onto and build their company’s identity and mission. Our first goal is to help our partners thrive, not to grow MAX into a larger organization. Our goal, unlike many strategic partnerships today, is to help our partners grow in their own identity and service to their members and communities.
Our leadership embodies the values named above. Our President & CEO, David Wine, is not only a long-time leader in the insurance industry having served in many capacities in trade organizations and boards (including as Chair of the NAMIC Farm Mutual Conference), but is also an ordained minister. Other MIIMG officers and team members are equally committed to our mission of doing good through business and helping others, both companies and individuals, through our core values. Serving and supporting others are hallmarks of our team.
